# Reach your agent from Slack and other channels

A channel connects one agent to Slack, Telegram, a chat on your website, or text messages, so people can write to the agent there.

## Add a channel

1. Open a chat with the agent. In the panel on the right, click **Resources**.

2. Next to **Channels**, click the plus button.

3. Type a name and select the **Type**.

4. Fill in the fields of that type, then click **Create**.

| Type | What to fill in |
| - | - |
| **Slack** | See [Slack](https://hyperfx.ai/docs/integrations/slack.md#talk-to-an-agent-in-slack) |
| **Telegram** | Your bot in **Telegram integration**, and a **Watch mode**. See [Telegram](https://hyperfx.ai/docs/integrations/telegram.md). |
| **Web chat** | Nothing. After **Create**, open the **Deploy** tab and paste its code before the closing `</body>` tag of your website. |
| **Sendblue (iMessage / SMS)** | Your account in **Sendblue integration** |

## Watch mode

Watch mode sets which messages the agent gets in Slack or Telegram.

| Watch mode | The agent gets |
| - | - |
| **Only when mentioned** | Only the messages that mention it |
| **After a mention, keep watching** | A mention, and the messages that follow it. The field starts with this option. |
| **Always watch** | Every message |
