# LinkedIn

> Set up and use the LinkedIn integration with Hyper AI

## Connect LinkedIn

1. Go to Settings → Apps in Hyper
2. Select LinkedIn → Connect New
3. Complete OAuth and grant requested scopes

## Common capabilities

* Prospect discovery support and profile lookups
* Draft connection requests and follow‑ups

## Use in Chat

Enable LinkedIn in the tool selector, then ask your agent to research prospects and draft outreach.

## Use in Agents

Add LinkedIn to an agent’s toolkits and pick the connection. Require approval for sensitive actions if desired.

## Use in Flows

Combine LinkedIn actions with enrichment, scoring, and email steps in multi‑stage workflows.

## Troubleshooting

* Scope errors: reconnect and grant all requested permissions
* Rate limits: reduce frequency or batch size of profile actions

## Available Actions

Hyper agents can run the following actions for this integration. Each action can be individually set to **Enabled**, **Requires Approval**, or **Disabled** in your agent's toolkit settings.

Actions can be set to one of three control states:

| State                 | Behavior                                                       |
| --------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Enabled**           | Agent runs the action automatically                            |
| **Requires Approval** | Agent pauses and waits for your confirmation before proceeding |
| **Disabled**          | Action is blocked and cannot be used                           |

Configure these in the agent's toolkit settings or in workspace defaults.
