Description

About the Amazon ACOS Tracking Dashboard

How this agent works

Tracks ACOS and TACOS across your Amazon Ads account on a schedule and sends alerts to Slack or email when a campaign breaches your thresholds.

Here's how it works:

  1. Connect your Amazon Ads account and set ACOS and TACOS thresholds per campaign or account-wide
  2. The AI checks performance on your schedule, daily or more often
  3. Each campaign's ACOS is compared against its threshold and its own recent trend
  4. When a threshold is breached, an alert goes to Slack or email with the likely cause
  5. A running dashboard tracks ACOS and TACOS over time so you can see drift, not just spikes

Why use this agent?

  • Catch a runaway campaign in a day instead of finding it in the month-end report
  • Thresholds are per campaign, so a launch campaign can run hotter than a profitable evergreen one
  • Alerts include context: which keywords or search terms drove the breach
  • TACOS tracking shows whether rising ad spend is growing total sales or cannibalizing organic
  • No more logging into the console just to check that nothing is on fire

Who is this for?

  • Amazon sellers who want ACOS watched without watching it themselves
  • Agencies monitoring ACOS across many client accounts
  • Finance and ops teams that need ad efficiency numbers on a schedule

Amazon ACOS tracking dashboard

This template watches ACOS and TACOS across your Amazon Ads account on a schedule. Set thresholds per campaign or account-wide, and when a campaign breaches its limit, an alert lands in Slack or your inbox with the context behind it: which keywords or search terms drove the change.

Between alerts, the dashboard accumulates a running history, so slow ACOS drift is visible before it becomes a threshold breach.

What gets tracked

ACOS per campaign: Ad spend divided by ad-attributed sales, checked against the threshold you set for each campaign. A new launch campaign can be allowed 50% while an evergreen campaign is held to 22%.

TACOS account-wide: Ad spend against total sales, including organic. This is the number that tells you whether advertising is growing the business or just shifting sales from organic to paid.

Trend direction: Each check compares against the campaign's own recent history, so a campaign that doubled its ACOS in three days gets flagged even if it has not crossed its absolute threshold yet.

How alerts work

Alerts go to Slack, email, or both. Each alert names the campaign, the threshold, the current number, and the likely cause pulled from the search term data. You choose the cadence: daily checks are typical, and higher-spend accounts often run twice daily.

Who this is for

Sellers: Set thresholds once and stop checking the console out of anxiety. If something breaks, you hear about it the same day.

Agencies: Run the same monitoring across every client account. Breach alerts route to the right client channel in Slack.

Ops and finance teams: A scheduled digest with ACOS and TACOS trends, without asking the marketing team to pull numbers.
