Connect Jira

  1. Go to Settings → Apps in Hyper
  2. Select Jira → Connect New
  3. Complete OAuth and select your Jira site

Common capabilities

  • Create and manage issues, epics, and sprints
  • Automate issue tracking and project workflows
  • Monitor development progress and team velocity

Use in Chat

Enable Jira in the tool selector. Ask your agent to create issues, check sprint progress, or summarize project status.

Use in Agents

Add Jira to an agent’s toolkits and select the connection. Require approval for write operations if desired.

Use in Flows

Automate issue triage, status updates, and project management workflows using Jira action nodes.

Troubleshooting

  • Project not found: verify the integration has access to the target Jira project
  • Permission errors: re-authorize with required scopes

Available Actions

Hyper agents can run the following actions for this integration. Each action can be individually set to Enabled, Requires Approval, or Disabled in your agent’s toolkit settings. Actions can be set to one of three control states:
